Calm body, Calm Mind - Signature Massage (on table)

Whether you consider yourself an athlete, or an office worker or are on your feet all day, Calm Body, Calm Mind is designed to address your unique needs to help harmonize, relax, and calm your body and mind. This signature massage will vary in techniques (lymphatic drainage, Swedish, deep tissue, myofascial release, acupressure, Thai) based on what is needed and helpful for you. Let us take care of you the best way we can!

Traditional Thai Yoga Bodywork

Thai Yoga bodywork is an ancient form of dynamic bodywork therapy based on yoga and Ayurveda, which appeared in the temples of Thailand about 2,500 years ago. In this healing system, also called Naad Boran, the practitioner uses a combination of stretching and massage techniques, like palming and thumbing along the body’s energy lines (Sen) and pressure points. These therapeutic techniques help relieve muscular tension, improve circulation and flexibility, reduce stress and pain, boost immunity, and energetically balance the body and mind. Thai Yoga Bodywork traditionally is done on a mat on the floor. It can also be done on a massage table (if being close to the ground is a challenge). Both client and practitioner are dressed in comfortable clothing, which will allow ease of movement.

Abdominal Massage goes straight into the source of all meridians and energy channels. Inspired by Chi Nei Tsang, which is a holistic healing touch modality developed in ancient China. CNT can help with digestive problems, headaches, chronic fatigue, menstrual cramps, insomnia, and more
